Friendly staff with clean rooms. We really like the location and access to everything. When we went they had construction going on but that was only minor inconvenience. Don't skip out on the breakfast. Was really surprised how good it was. Also, if needed ask for a rollaway bed if needed. Great access to gym, pool, and jacuzzi. We will be back on our next trip.
Staff was cheerful and inviting. Room nice and clean. Even during construction staff was doing theirs best. One little issue I had is that my AC broke almost as I've arrived and despite my requests it wasn't fixed till I left.
We stayed here during a four day swim meet in Clearwater, and as a parent of a club swimmer we stay at a lot of hotels in Florida and have chosen Marriott's reward program since there are so many properties. Unfortunately when we booked this hotel, the website did not mention it was under construction. Swim meets are preliminary races in the morning and finals in the evening and the kid needs to sleep between. Needless to say, not much sleep was had among the hammering, even on Sunday. The hotel was nice and clean and definitely in need of the upgrade. The lobby and our floor was all finished and the staff was wonderful as usual. It would have been nice to know about the construction, however, as we would have booked a different hotel.
After a long day of travel and work I arrived at the front desk and the customer in front of me was very loud, obnoxious even. The customer had booked a room online and was now demanding a free upgrade. The young man behind the desk, Luke, was very patient with this customer, not that the customer deserved it. When it was my turn to check in, Luke was completely professional, efficient and pleasant. The hotel is clean and in close proximity to a beach and local restaurants,
This hotel should set the bar for all hotels. The front desk staff was AMAZING!! Super knowledgeable and friendly. Rooms are standard size. Didn’t ask if larger rooms for family’s were available. Very clean. Breakfast? Yes! Just fill out a menu form the night before and they will have it boxed up for you in the morning. Saved us time and $30/day. Eggs, muffins, fruit, juice, milk etc. If you’re looking to be in Clearwater but don’t want to spend the money to stay on the beach, this is the place for you.
